Ideas Kiosk
Difficult Decisions in Forest Fires' Contexts
April 11, 2025, 16h30 (GMT+1)
Online event
First edition of the Ideas Kiosk of the “Risk(s), ecologies, health” research group, with the aim of strengthening the relationship between research and society, particularly through an approach that facilitates social questioning of specific themes.
The social consultation process is open to people directly involved in fire risk management, inhabitants of rural areas, political decision-makers (national, municipal and local), members of public institutions, civil protection agents, members of NGOs and environmental or other associations, and the scientific community. The form for social consultation and questioning can be accessed HERE.
The Kiosk will take place online and will begin with a short session by speakers who will bring essential perspectives to fire risk management: political decision-making, civil protection, the scientific community, and civil society. In addition, anyone wishing to participate must register [HERE] in order to be part of the roundtable following the speakers’ short interventions.
