Francisco Rodriguez Ortiz
Biography
Francisco Rodríguez Ortiz. Ecuadorian. He holds a degree in Sociology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE) and a Master's degree in International Political Economy from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. He is currently a PhD student in International Relations at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, and a research associate at the Science, Technology and Society Laboratory of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO Ecuador). His main areas of research relate to: 1) the intersection between technology and International Relations; 2) the governance and political economy of Artificial Intelligence; 3) critical digital infrastructure and materialities; 4) China-US-Latin America relations.
