Paula Dürks Cassol


Biography

Paula Durks Cassol has been a researcher in Gender Studies for nine years, focusing on the connections between art and human rights issues. She is a PhD candidate in Human Rights in Contemporary Societies at the Centre for Social Studies and Interdisciplinary Research Institute, University of Coimbra, funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (reference 2022.13510.BD). She holds a Master's degree in Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a CAPES scholarship, and is a specialist in Afro-Latin American and Caribbean Studies from CLACSO. She earned her J.D. in Law from the Federal University of Santa Maria. She is also a singer and the proud guardian of two cats.
