Tiago Ribeiro
Biography
Bachelor (2006) and master (2014) degree in Sociology at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra, where he is currently finishing his doctoral thesis in the same field, entitled "Law and (the end of) sex: a sociological approach to the jurisdictional exercise". Junior researcher at the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (since 2007), and guest lecturer at the School of Education and Social Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (since 2009), where he teaches curricular units (thematic and methodological) framed by the social sciences and humanities in undergraduate and master's degree courses. Scientific research inspired by sociological theory and cultural studies of law, focusing on the legal representation of sex and other experiences of articulation between norm and object.
