Biography
PhD in Communication Sciences. He works in the field of Social Sciences, with an emphasis on Communication Sciences and Political Science. He is a researcher at the Centre for Social Studies (CES) at the University of Coimbra (UC), where he is part of the Democracy, Justice and Human Rights thematic line. At CES, Manuel João Cruz is part of the project "UNPOP: Dismantling Populism: Comparing the formation of emotion narratives and their effects on political behaviour".
