Biography

PhD candidate in Sociology at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC). She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Coimbra, a Master's degree in Public and Political Communication from Sciences Po Bordeaux, and a Master's degree in Sociology from FEUC, where she completed the dissertation "Enough of Feminisms? The Opposition to and Instrumentalisation of Gender Issues by the Portuguese Radical Right". She is a Researcher at the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (CES), where she is a member of the European project GENDEII - Gender and DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Indicators for European and Latin-American Technological Companies and Related Training Strategies (Horizon Europe - MSCA Staff Exchanges, 2026-2030). She is also a Researcher at INESC Coimbra - Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering at Coimbra, where she conducts research on Human-Centred Internet of Things (HumanIoT). Her doctoral research examines the professional identities of women in digital technology professions, analysing the relationships between technological work, organisational cultures, and gender inequalities.
