Violeta Campos
Biography
Violeta Campos graduated in Psychology from the University of Lisbon and holds a master's degree in Educational, Developmental, and Counseling Psychology from the University of Coimbra. She is currently a junior researcher at the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra, working on the project "CLICK - Connecting Families, Educators, and Policymakers to Improve the Well-being of LGBTIQ Children through an Intersectional Approach" funded by the European Commission (CERV - 2024 - DAPHNE). This work is linked to her activist commitment as coordinator of the Education Project and member of the board of the association rede ex aequo - associação de jovens lgbti e apoiantes, where she has participated in projects such as "Decenter for Equality - Preventing and Combating Gender Violence in the LGBTI+ Population" (funded by CIG) and "Rainbow Schools - For more inclusive and safer schools for LGBTI+ youth" (funded by IGLYO). In addition, she is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Sexual Health in Clinical Practice at ISPA - Instituto Universitário.
