Ana Paula Relvas


Biography

Ana Paula Pais Rodrigues da Fonseca Relvas - Social Sciences / Psychology. She's Full Professor of the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of the Coimbra, Psychologist, Family Therapist, PhD in Clinical Psychology, Aggregate in 1995. Her research interests and teaching activity focus on family studies and family intervention reseatch under a systemic approach; in that sense she studies the family in relation with different contexts and interfaces - such as health/illness conditions, community context, therapeutic context, school context. Her main study theme shows up in the coordination of courses (e.g. Interuniversitary Doctoral Program in Family Psychology and Family Intervention) as well as in her publication themes. She is regularly involved in managing activities in her Faculty and in the University of Coimbra through the participation in diverse boards, councils and committees.
