Biography
Ph.D. Candidate in the Doctoral Programme in Postcolonialisms and Global Citizenship holds a degree in Art History (Fluc) Master in Art Studies by the same university. Main research interests are the relations between film and colonialism and film and post-colonial representations and militant cinema. Her/his academic and professional journey has been geared toward addressing questions that have emerged associated with these topics. Currently, he is working on his Ph.D. project, entitled «Colonialist imaginary in Portuguese fiction film between 1974 and 2016» funded by FCT grant PD/BD/113918/2015.
