In line with other doctoral programmes at UC, the study programme is structured over eight semesters, with the first comprising coursework and the remainder devoted to the preparation of the thesis. The doctoral degree will be awarded upon successful completion of all the modules in the study programme, culminating, at the end of the fourth year, in the defence of the thesis.
