Abstract
Research is essential to the advancement of knowledge. In disciplines with a long University tradition, the relationship between education and professional practice is considered fundamental. Alongside the project, recognized as the method in architecture, research is still perceived as a diffuse figure. In an increasingly transdisciplinary context, the state of the art of research in architecture lacks a comprehensive line of observation, synthesis and proposition. This seminar proposes a reflection through research experiences in national and international context, discussing how the research has contributed to the (in) definition of disciplinary limits of architecture.
