Biography

PhD student in Post-Colonialisms and Global Citizenship at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, where she is currently developing the research 'Performing School Survival: An Ethnography of Youth Corporealities of Brazilian Origin in Three Portuguese Schools', which is funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), between September 2024 and August 2028; Master in Physical Education from PPGEF-UFES; Graduated in Physical Education - Bachelor's Degree from the Federal University of Espírito Santo. Member of the Physical Education Studies Laboratory (LESEF), member of the EGBÊ Study Group (2020-2021); member of the ERÊ-ECOA study group (2018-2021). She has experience in the field of Education, with an emphasis on Teaching Ethnic-Racial Relations and Physical Education, working mainly on the following topics: insurgent epistemologies, the black body and its Afro-diasporic aesthetics, youth empowerment and its re-existence, as well as public policies for the black population.
