This volume of Cescontexto results from the International Conference “Towards creative resilience? Re-imagining urban cultures, sociabilities and participation,” which was held at the University of Coimbra, November 14-15, 2024, organized by the CES Thematic Line “Urban Cultures, Sociabilities and Participation” (CULTURS). The volume includes 25 papers that were originally presented at this Conference, peer reviewed, and revised for this publication.

The Conference provided a platform for insightful knowledge exchanges among the 90 participants from 18 countries.
